Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Delivery Terms & Fees

  • Ground Floor Delivery: Our standard delivery service is limited to the Ground Floor of your building.
  • Lifting Charges: Delivery to higher floors is only available via a service lift. If no lift is available, additional labor charges will apply for manual lifting.
  • Access Road: Delivery is subject to suitable road access for our transport vehicles (trucks/vans).

2. Mandatory Inspection at Delivery

  • Presence of Staff: Customers must inspect the product thoroughly while the delivery personnel are present.
  • Damage Reports: Any physical damage (scratches, cracks) or incorrect items must be reported immediately to the delivery staff.
  • Important: Once the delivery personnel leave the premises, physical damage claims will not be accepted.

3. Product Variations & Availability

  • Fabric Variations: Due to lighting or stock fluctuations, fabric shades may vary slightly from website images. If a specific fabric is unavailable, we will offer alternatives or a full refund.
  • Stock Outs: Dhaka Furniture reserves the right to cancel and refund orders if a product is out of stock or cannot be manufactured.
Return, Exchange & Refund Policy

1. Return and Exchange Window

  • You have a maximum of 3 (three) days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange.
  • Requests made after this 3-day period will not be accepted.

2. Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be:

  • Unused, unassembled, and in its original packaging.
  • Accompanied by a valid proof of purchase (original receipt/invoice).
  • Note: Only regular-priced items are eligible. Sale, discounted, or promotional items are non-returnable.

3. Return and Exchange Fees

Due to the logistics involved in moving furniture, the following fees apply:

  • Return Fee: A restocking fee of 25% of the total invoice amount will be deducted from your refund.
  • Exchange Fee: An exchange fee of 15% of the total invoice amount will apply if you swap for a different product.

4. Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Customized Products: Items made to your specific size, color, or design.
  • Assembled/Used Items: Any furniture that has already been set up or used.

Customer Damage: Damage resulting from misuse or improper handling by the customer.

5. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact us via email at info@dhakafurniture.com within 3 days of delivery.
  2. Provide your order number and photos of the item.
  3. Do not send items back without prior written approval from our team.

6. Refund Policy & Timeline

    • Inspection: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets our eligibility criteria.
    • Approval: We will notify you via email/phone regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
    • Refund Amount: If approved, your refund will be the total invoice amount minus the 25% restocking fee.
    • Timeline: The refund will be processed to your original payment method (or agreed channel) within 10 (ten) business days.
WARRANTY & QUALITY ASSURANCE

We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. All our products come with a 12-month comprehensive after-sales service warranty (covering both parts and labor) against any manufacturing defects or material inconsistencies.

What is Covered:

  • Any structural defects arising from the manufacturing process.

  • Issues related to the quality of the materials used.

What is Not Covered:

  • Damages resulting from improper usage, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.

  • Natural wear and tear that occurs over the course of normal product usage.

  • Damage caused by extreme environmental conditions (e.g., damp walls or direct sunlight).
